While honoring Sage's heritage with a full frame design, narrow profile, and classic styling the backbone of the Trout reel is Sage's proven One Revolution Sealed Carbon System drag — one of the smoothest and most reliable drag systems in the industry. The machined and anodized aluminum One Revolution Drag Knob with 20 numbers and 40 detented settings delivers precise repeatable drag adjustment in a single rotation giving you complete control over every fish you hook from delicate spring creek Rainbows to hard charging Browns on big western rivers.
The heart of the series is the 4/5/6 which balances perfectly with the majority of all around trout rods making it the ideal everyday trout reel for anglers fishing the Gunnison, the Uncompahgre, and rivers across Western Colorado. The 2/3/4 is ideal for small trout rods and technical light line applications while the larger 6/7/8 is a great option for bigger trout setups or light salmon and steelhead duty.
