The stunning Silver Pine blank with Slate primary thread wraps and graduated White and Grey trim gives the R8 Core a clean and modern look that is unmistakably Sage. The sustainable Ziricote wood insert with anodized aluminum uplocking reel seat on 3 to 6 weight models and gunmetal anodized aluminum uplocking reel seat on 5 to 9 weight models complete a rod that is as beautiful to hold as it is to cast. Every R8 Core features an integrated hidden hook keeper in the reel seat and is packaged in a black rod bag with new quick tie cord lock and an aluminum rod tube with Sage Medallion.
