In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2026, the A6 Cover will not be sold separately. It will be bundled with the 2026 Hobonichi Techo A6 English Original Book.

A techo cover made using a drawing by printmaker and artist Makoto Matsubayashi. Printed on a silver background with a large flower drawn with bold and carefree strokes of a crayon. Makes for a cover where coolness and warmth coexist. One of the charms on the two bookmarks is also a flower designed by Matsubayashi.
