In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2026, the A6 Cover will not be sold separately. It will be bundled with the 2026 Hobonichi Techo A6 English Original Book.

Printed with a landscape painting by writer, musician and artist Kyohei Sakaguchi. This image depicting the refreshing blue sky and white clouds spreading out over a field takes up the entirety of this cover. While realistic in style, it was made using pastels and the fingers, bringing out a certain warmth.
