Morimoto XB LED Headlights: Toyota Tundra (14-21) (Pair / ASM / Amber DRL) (Gen 2)
Second Gen Update: The 14+ Tundra is one of the most popular trucks among our customers, so it's no wonder that the original flavor Morimoto XB LED headlights were so popular--But there were still some folks who wanted more. With other great options out there such as the OEM LED headlights, which are also a relative bargain compared to Morimoto XBs, some guys just didn't see the value, but now that's about to change with the introduction of the Gen II lights. While they look the same from the outside, it's what's inside that counts! More Light Output: The original Tundra XB's used 2 projectors for low beam, and one dedicated high beam. The new setup utilizes all three projectors for the low beam, and has a dual Bi-LED setup. The results? 33% more light output for low beam mode, 100% more output in high beam mode, and a much better distribution of light with more foreground light on the ground directly in front of the truck--translating to improved visibility while cornering. These are easily a top performer compared to the OEM halogen and OEM LED headlights. Start-Up Sequence: If the optical upgrades weren't enough, the cool start up sequence has been added too. When the Daytime Running light kicks on, the projectors illuminate in a two-stage sequence before turning back off in. A video is worth a thousand words here... so to see what we're talking about here-- just watch the video feature covering the lights. While it does absolutely nothing for performance, you can't deny the cool-factor! DOT Approved: Make no mistake, these will produce a much different [better] result than slapping some LED replacement bulbs into your stock housings. Their triple-projector optics meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and FMVSS108 regulations when aimed properly...and that's easy to do with their integrated vertical/lateral adjusters. Unless you've got a jacked up truck, their out of the box aim should be good to go too, since they are pre-set to OEM specifications. Plug-n-Play: Wiring is easy too! The LED headlights are designed to work on your Toyota Tundra without any modifications. They will plug into the factory connectors for the stock headlights and each assembly includes all necessary connectors, rubber seals, and pigtails for a plug n play install. No error codes, no flickering, hyper-flashing, or any of that. It's also worth mentioning that there were some compatibility bugs on trucks that came with the OEM LED headlights, which have all been ironed out now with an optional adapter harness that's been updated. These lights can easily be removed, and will not void your factory warranty. Sequential LED DRL: Now here comes the game changer here guys. These bad boys are available with your choice of either a white daytime running light, or an all-amber version, which I absolutely love. Either one is powered by Osram LEDs and it is insanely bright, easily visible during the day. The amber looks at-home on Tundras that are decked out with matching off road lights from other well-known brands like Baja or KC HiLites, and the white version looks crispy and modern. They also have a separate optic that's dedicated to the turn signal function-- which can be ran in a full on/off mode, or the sequential setup that everybody loves. Well-Built: Their UV-coated polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, ensuring your truck's new headlights will look good as new for many years to come. The PPS plastic housing is light-weight and much stronger than comparable alternatives. The die-cast aluminum heat-sinks inside the housings provide more than an adequate amount of cooling for the OEM grade Osram LED chips that produce the light. OEM Plus: We live, eat, and sleep headlights. While the Tacoma LED headlights from Morimoto cost a bit more relative to other options in the aftermarket; as the saying goes "you pay for what you get". We've seen it all, and their fit and finish is far superior to everything else out there. Guaranteed. They Look: Amazing. At least in our opinion! The subtle elements incorporated in their design are more than enough to make them stand out, but they're clean enough to be considered top of the line original equipment to those who don't know any better. The piano black trim and smoked gray reflectors keep the color scheme neutral, and the triple kuria-optic projectors are as modern as it gets. While the Gen II lights look basically the same as the originals, its whats inside that counts. More features. More options. More light output. Morimoto!

Fantastic art book. As good as the first one.
I love the Airbender animation series. I can still remember the strong nostalgia I had while watching the first episode of The Legend of Korra: Book 1 Air, recalling all the characters from the previous series, and watch how time has passed and given us a new generation to look upon. The Legend of Korra: Book 1 - Air, The Art of the Animated Series is a nice addition to that experience. It's as good as the first art book . The cover art is different from the original product image. It has Korra looking rather too serious. The book features development art from all the 12 episodes in Book One: Air. There are designs for the main characters, followed by the Republic City and its inhabitants and then we have art from each episode in order. Character designs form the bulk of the book. There's Korra in different outfits, including those from Pro-bending gear, and also the cute four-year-old Korra. There are lots of line art and also coloured versions for the characters. Other characters are Tenzin and his family, Lin Beifong, Amon, Katara, and about most of the characters that appear in the episodes. The environment art are beautiful. The buildings and sets have a mix of oriental, industrial and European style. The world has changed since Aang was the Avatar. You'll see some connection to the past, for example, with Avatar Aang Memorial Island. Overall, the world feels very different because it has evolved. My favourite piece is the aerial painting of Air Temple Island that appears towards the end. The last few pages have some pretty cool miscellaneous art, such as the classic Avatar characters in their adult form, and also other characters drawn in non-animation style. Throughout the book, commentary is provided by creators Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko and director Joaquin Dos Santos. They give illuminating insight to the designs and stories. Highly recommended to fans of the series, and those who like animation or character art. It's one of my 2013 favourite artbooks. (See more pictures of the book on my blog. Great companion book to a great "Book One!"
I really like that the creators have been so heavily involved in the comics and art books from Dark Horse, and as such, I want to own all of them after looking at this gem! The artwork is beautiful, and it's awesome reading little anecdotes from the series creators. Did you know that polar bear dogs are feared by the Water Tribes, but Korra met a lost cub when she was little and now she has Naga!? All of the notes add to the universe of the series and make you feel involved in the show. As a fan of the original series, I'm now a little older and can really appreciate the work that goes into entertaining people, so this book is exceptional at presenting that feeling. The book is separated into a few sections, focusing on early development, each episode of the first season, and extra artwork created for promotion such as the DVD cover. I love being able to look at the concept art and notes and then watch the series at home. I highly recommend grabbing the Blu-ray version of the series. It has audio commentaries for each episode, so you are really being thrown into the universe of The Legend of Korra! I highly recommend to everyone who is a fan of the series!

BEST ART BOOK (GREAT GIFT FOR Legend Of Korra FANS)
It is a beautiful book. It was everything I hoped for, but it was bigger than I expected. (I didn't see the measurements/size...oops) The artwork inside is incredible, the detail and effort that was put into this book is amazing. I am a huge Legend of Korra fan, so I was a little nervous when I bought the book. I had my doubts but when received it I was so pleased with it. I could not be happier with this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone considering it to either give to a friend or to buy for personal use.

A good one, albeit not a perfect one
It is a comprehensive look into the series with lots of wonderful art. I felt that it was thinner than the previous book from the Avatar series but I'm not talking about the length of the book (I know this one has less pages an only covers one season) but rather about the "insights" into the creative process. While the previous book felt full to the seams and you could feel that there was a lot of important material that didn't fit, you also felt that all the material that did was included was the best. In this one for Korra, you feel that there were many important things left out that should have been included and there are some things that were included that doesn't feel as important...

Everything you wanted put into a art book
I loved this art book. It showed me basically everything I wanted to see from back drops used and unused, old character designs and how some things came to be or what they were inspired by. The commentary is great though rarely confusing (Ex: at one point they commentary refers to a picture in the top right but says "As you can see by the design in the middle" the middle being something completely different) I feel like this book is a must for fans and people interested in the art of the series alike.
