It has complete and well attached bark on the backside. This is a classic half log blank, split through the center of the log. There is some pith present and minor cracks associated with the pith. You may wish to stabilize these with CA glue prior to turning. Zone and black line spalting weave through the wood like intricate lacework.

This is a classic half-log blank, split through the center of the log. There is some pith present and minor cracks associated with the pith. You may wish to stabilize these with CA glue prior to turning. Zone and black-line spalting weave through the wood like intricate lacework. The spalting adds character, ensuring that the bowl you craft is one-of-a-kind. With the bark on the backside, you have the option of turning a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural-edge bowl. If you want to preserve a full bark edge on the natural rim, you will need to secure the bark with CA glue before and possibly during turning. This blank has been air-dried to achieve a moisture content of less than 10%. It is ready for finish-turning. My go-to sublimation paper for crafting

I've used several sublimation papers, and this one has worked really well for my crafting projects. The colors transfer bright and vibrant, and the images come out crisp with good detail when using the proper sublimation printer and ink. Vibrant, Rich Colors
This is my absolute FAVORITE sublimation ink. For the price, it's the best you'll find the canisters are easy to use, don't leak, and lasting for months.
