IMO this is just the beginning, what do they need natural born women for. It's so wrong on so many levels for women. The strength of women and their strength of character

Willa and Sage began an unconventional relationship yet completed their journey in love. I loved the characters and plot of this book. I was inspired by Sage’s strength to defend Willa from the jabs of an aggressive friend, Ava. It was wonderful watching Ava grow even though she was a secondary character. That Sage remembered Rebecca’s plight and commit herself to a legacy of providing soccer camps for girls and trans players was incredible. A truly inspiring story. I heartily recommend this book and any others by this author. I love the way she writes and how she allows us to tag along with the journeys of her well developed characters and plot. The first essay on the lyric is necessary reading for any poet. The whole book is excellent reading, often on the Appalachian writers. Excellent resource for scholars and casual readers.
