A large antique Victorian reversible locket with an 18.5 inch sterling silver book chain. One side of the locket is engraved with a swallow bird and the other with a floral leaf design.
The locket opens and closes securely and can hold two photos or a small keepsake. Inside remains a blonde lock of hair that appears to have been there a long time, which the new owner may wish to keep or remove. The chain and locket are not stamped or hallmarked, but both have been tested as sterling silver. You can move the hoops, locket and extension piece to wear it slightly longer or shorter (see photos for ideas).
