La pierre de soleil fait partie de la famille des feldspath (variété plagioclase) célèbre pour son aventurescence : un miroitement pailleté produit par de fines inclusions plates (de cuivre natif ou d'hématite), qui s’illumine au moindre mouvement. Ses teintes vont du jaune-doré à l’orangé, rose/rouge, et plus rarement vert, avec parfois des effets de pléochroïsme.

Attention : ne pas confondre avec la "goldstone" (verre pailleté, imitation courante).

Entretien : Nettoyage à l’eau tiède savonneuse, rincer et sécher doux. Éviter ultrasons et vapeur ; éviter les chocs et fortes chaleurs prolongées.

Astuce Perles Corner : son éclat chaud se marie parfaitement avec des apprêts dorés et des perles naturelles (grenat, nacre, amazonite, Améthyste...) pour des créations lumineuses et estivales.
