Old Town and Slaughter Bay. 

The Old Town, Kingston, taken from a crane truck to purposely get some elevation into the composition. I contracted the local Government crane to lift me 10 metres from the Kingston Pier in the middle of the day, so that the shadows of the curved Pier and foreshore wall would lead the viewer into the image and draw the eye to the distance. 

The Old Town is a collection of functional buildings that evolved through the first and second British settlements on Norfolk Island around the original Landing Place and Kingston Pier which remains one of Norfolk’s key access points.
