This is Bardolino country, a DOC in the Veneto region most famous for its Valpolicella-style light reds and rosé wines, but Alessia and Stefano have instead set out to show what the indigenous grapes and terroir are capable of when allowed to express themselves naturally.
This light ruby red is crunchy, zesty and mineral, with notes of thyme and blackberries, and no added sulphites.
