A mailbox can be not only a simple mailbox but a masterpiece which decorates your house and outlines your exterior features. Here is a hand forged mailbox on a post decorated with owl, mouse, oak leaves, acorns. The post is also decorated with a forest theme (twigs, oak leaves, acorns).

Description:
the mouse standing on the mushrooms, hiding behind the twigs and leaves. The door has to open from the top down for the mail to be delivered. A rear door has an access so one can get one's mail without standing on the street in traffic. There is no lock, and some sort of latch to keep it closed so when the mail is delivered it doesn't fall out of the rear of the mailbox. The owl sits on the box on a little stump. The owl is disconnected for the shipping purposes.

the box be 12" high, 12" wide, 16" deep.
Height of a post: 100 cm (39.39")

Colors:
Black with bronze, copper, some green.

A post and a mailbox will be shipped in 2 parcels, disassembled. You will screw them up while installing it at site.

WAY OF PRODUCTION:
The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

I can send it to any country.

Custom orders are welcome (different colour, size, content). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal).

It will be done "to order", please allow 20-30 days for its making.
