Plug the battery backup UPS into an available wall socket, then plug the Illumina NextSeq 500 into one of the available receptacles on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it.
If utility power is lost while the Illumina NextSeq 500 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.

Great easy plugs and even better value

Great plugs and amazing value for the money. Easy to use and tighten and the screw cover works wonderfully. Even comes with a couple extra screws in case you lose one. The sound is better than what I had and I used 14 gauge wire. Plugs were perfect, not too tight at all. I could see having to push for new posts but they are snug and didn't take too much force to put in. 10/10
