Here is a hand forged gum dong pang (translation: Buddha’s Warrior Attendant‘s Cudgel). This is a kung fu weapon that consists of a metal pole, that on-end, comes to eyebrow height. It has some decor elements on each end on a cudgel.

Cudgel – a stout stick carried by peasants during the Middle Ages. It functioned as a walking staff and a weapon for both self-defence and wartime. Clubmen revolted in several localities against the excesses of soldiers on both sides during the English Civil War. During the 18th century singlestick fighting (a training sport for the use of the single handed backsword) was called singlesticking, or cudgel-play. It has 2 initials in 4 places.
