This Bolt Carrier is of the same "Slickside" design with no forward assist notches on the side. Carrier made with 8620 Steel and bolt made from 9310 Vac Arc Premium Carburizing Steel which has a high core hardness and high fatigue strength unlike standard Hot cold rolled 9310 steels. The nitride coating is the strongest plate available,

Carrier made with 8620 Steel and bolt made from 9310 Vac-Arc Premium Carburizing Steel which has a high core hardness and high fatigue strength unlike standard Hot/cold rolled 9310 steels. The nitride coating is the strongest plate available, it's the same protective finish that's used in gun barrels and CNC tool protection.
