It is a nice contrast to the longer aged Bordeaux-inspired cuvees by Les Lunes.
This is a blend of fruit from eight vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon from the Los Carneros region always maintains a striking freshness and acidity, the Cabernet Franc brings about bright red fruit and the Merlot contributes beautifully on the mid-palate. The Zinfandel adds a touch of structure while the Chenin contributes a citrus lift to the wine. The resulting wine is fresh, with bright juicy berry fruit and hints of spice characteristic of these Bordeaux-type varieties.
Grape: 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Zinfandel, 3% Chenin Blanc
