The mahogany neck, with its PRS Pattern Vintage profile, pairs seamlessly with a bound rosewood fingerboard featuring a 10" radius, 22 frets, and PRS' signature Bird inlays.

The SE McCarty 594 is engineered for a range of sound dynamics, powered by a duo of PRS 58/15 LT "S" pickups. The "LT" stands for Low Turn, suggesting these humbuckers sport fewer windings than the regular 58/15 models, generating a classic tone with reduced output.

Each humbucker is individually tethered to its volume and tone control. Moreover, every tone control embeds a push/pull mechanism, enabling split-coil tones. When utilized, this function selects the inner coil from each pickup, offering up to eight distinct pickup combinations.
