Behold the Reverend Thundergun Electric bass guitar, the ideal choice for bass enthusiasts craving that vintage tone with a dash of contemporary verve. This instrument's unique design features a raised center section, enhancing the body mass for superior sustain, while its slimmer wings augment the overall resonance—resulting in a harmonious interplay of sustain and harmonics that is simply divine.
The Thundergun boasts a body composed of korina—an exceptional tonewood known for its balance in the tonal spectrum. This is complemented by a high mass string-thru-body bridge with 3/4" spacing that offers superior sustain and resonance.
The neck is a unique 5-piece korina/walnut laminated for superb strength and stability. Carved to a hand-filling Medium Oval shape, it's crowned with a 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, home to 21 almost-jumbo frets. The guitar is fitted with Hipshot Ultralight tuning machines that provide precision tuning and exceptional stability without throwing off balance.
Electronically, the Thundergun is locked and loaded. It employs a Thick Brick Bridge pickup and a Split Brick Neck pickup, coupled with high-quality 10% Poly Caps and 10% Alpha Pots for controlling your sound. Moreover, the inclusion of a Pure Tone Jack ensures a clean, reliable connection for your signal path.
