In biblical and rabbinic literature, the obligation to love God appears as a formal commandment. Yet most people today think of love as a feeling and wonder how an emotion can be commanded. Jon Levenson traces the origins of the concept to the ancient institution of covenant, showing how covenantal love is a matter neither of sentiment nor of dry legalism. In origin, the love of God is, instead, thoroughly relational in nature, inseparable from the deeply personal two-way relationship that finds expression in God's mysterious love for the people of Israel, who in turn observe God's laws out of profound gratitude for his acts of deliverance and continuing faithfulness to him in the face of temptations to abandon the relationship.

It broke within the week
Color: Turtle
The toy was ADORABLE, it worked very well for the first week. And then it broke. I bought two for my puppy and my 8 year old shih tzus. It stopped vibrating and just made loud grinding and squeaking noises. I would recommend this toy if it lasted longer.

Offers tons of activity

My 70lb dog LOVES this turtle toy, was worth the price. He will play and play until he’s exhausted. We have to give him breaks from it. We use the second setting which is just for movement, no music. The only aspect I don’t like is that he will inadvertently press the button when he’s biting the toy, changing the setting and sometimes has turned it off. The velcro is super strong, which is good but makes it difficult to open. Battery life is decent, lasted a few days with him playing with it an hour or so each evening. I like the auto shut off after 30 minutes of no movement.

Great toy for a dog who is not afraid of noises

My puppy loves this thing! She was confused at first but now she plays with it daily. I just let it jump and sing the first time. She looked at it with the cutest head tilt. It is a bit loud so if you have a dog that's scared of noises this might be the right toy. Now when she picks it up, I turn it on and she gets so excited! The different songs make the toy less annoying for me, lol. Honestly, anything to tire out a 4 month old puppy. She is very entertaining to watch.

What a fun toy!!!

This is the first toy in a very long time my 10yo GSD wants to play with. She actually brings it over for me to turn on. It is loud and wiggly... She goes nuts for it! So far good quality with shaking and light chewing. Very easy to turn on and off. Great value for the play enjoyment of my sweet girl, gets her up and moving.
