Contained on this release are tracks which would go on to feature on the classic 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky' album, with a rehearsal featuring the line-up of Nocturno Culto, Fenriz, Zephyrous & Dag Nilsen performing infamous tracks such as 'In the Shadow of the Horns' and 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky' in their most raw form. The recordings were taken from the band's rehearsal place in Vinterbro, located directly south of Gjersjøen lake that separates Vinterbro from Kolbotn.
