The Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster furthers the American Professional series guitar with a host of exciting new features and improvements. This California made Jazzmaster, finished in an eye-catching Mystic Surf Green, has been fine-tuned from Fender to make for one of their most comfortable playing Jazzmasters yet.

The bare bones of the American Professional II Jazzmaster are the only real similarity to that of its former American Professional model launched in 2017 - alder body, maple neck, Deep "C" neck profile, and 22 Narrow Tall frets.

Beyond that, the American Professional II is equipped with new features and specifications. The Deep "C" maple neck now receives a vintage-tinted "Super-Natural" satin finish on the back, as well as a new heeled neck joint for easier access and additional comfort when playing in the high register.

The American Professional II Jazzmaster also receives an electronics upgrade, with two newly-designed V-Mod II Jazzmaster pickups with a slightly overwound design for punchier vintage-inspired tone. A push/push tone control can be engaged to tap the bridge pickup for a vintage Jazzmaster pickup voicing, and both pickups are wired to a treble bleed to retain high end when rolling back on the guitar's lead volume.

Also new on the American Professional II Jazzmaster is in the lead/rhythm circuit. Instead of the vintage deign - neck pickup on with a filter - the Rhythm position on this Jazzmaster engages both pickups in series. This circuit is controlled with its own volume and tone roller controls.

The American Professional II Jazzmaster features Fender's new Panorama tremolo system, allowing for the widest range of pitch modulation ever found on a stock Fender Jazzmaster. Brass Mustang saddles are also incorporated for precise intonation.

With all these new features - and of course a Deluxe Fender hardshell case - the American Professional II is sure to please without straying entirely from the formula for a Fender Jazzmaster. And yes, it sounds as good as it looks!
