The AEM AEM-21-743C Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Ford Fusion models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the lower air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the intake air temperature sensor and vent line. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. loose fitment

I guess it's a hit or miss with this. You either get perfect fitment or poor fitment like I did, after the install it's very loose.

Awful fitment, poor quality
Size: 2002-2005 E46
Although not oem quality was expected, but I never thought to throw them away either. Grills look very nice, outside quality is good. Unfortunately the grills do not fit to its place and slip just after you close the hood. After several tries to make them stay in place I have broken 2 clamps. Finally I have removed these grills and went on with OEM ones.
Also, pay attention that you must drill a space for hood lock on the inner side (driver side grill does not have the factory space for hood lock handle).

Cheap but works

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
These are cheap, but work. They don’t snap in well and don’t fit the edges perfectly. That being said, they’re cheap and fill the hole if your grill is broken or missing.
