The Cardinal Health™ Three-Layer Compression Bandage System is a multi-layer system designed to deliver effective, sustained compression for the treatment of mixed etiology leg ulcers. Providing reduced compression compared to the Cardinal Health™ Four-Layer Compression Bandage System, it is specifically developed for patients with an Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) between 0.6 and 0.8, where full compression is not recommended. The system helps maintain consistent pressure to support venous return and promote healing while remaining comfortable for extended wear.
- Reduced compression: Ideal for patients requiring moderate pressure due to arterial impairment (ABI 0.6–0.8).
- Graduated pressure design: Provides higher pressure at the ankle and lower at the calf to promote upward blood flow.
- Extended wear: May be left in place for up to seven days depending on clinical assessment.
- Comfortable and secure: Soft padding and cohesive outer layer help maintain consistent compression after application.
- Latex-free: Not made with natural rubber latex.
