He strives to work in the purest form possible, keeping his vines and wines free from chemicals and additives. This is a super glou glou blend of white (Trebbiano and Passerina) and red (Montepulciano) grapes. The three varieties were vinified separately

Controvento is a small orgnically farmed winery located in Rocca San Giovanni, a stone’s throw away from the Adriatic Sea in Italy’s Abruzzo region, run by Vincenzo Di Meo. He strives to work in the purest form possible, keeping his vines and wines free from chemicals and additives.
This is a super glou-glou blend of white (Trebbiano and Passerina) and red (Montepulciano) grapes. The three varieties were vinified separately in stainless steel and then assembled. Fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts, without additions, and it was then bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no sulphites added. Drink this chilled - perfect for late summer quaffing!
