Mr Jack is een asymmetrisch spel voor twee spelers. Elke speler heeft een ander doel.
Eén speler neemt de rol van de onderzoeker op zich en de andere de rol van meneer Jack.
De onderzoeker moet uitzoeken onder welke identiteit Mr Jack zich verbergt en hem dan vangen.
Meneer Jack probeert van de duisternis gebruik te maken om de buurt voorgoed te verlaten en doet alles wat hij kan om het onderzoek te vertragen.
Door opeenvolgende deducties, door de personages in het duister of in het licht te plaatsen, vermindert de onderzoeker het aantal mogelijke verdachten en wordt de strop rond Mr Jack strakker. Zal hij erin slagen hem voor de achtste ronde te vangen?

Het doel van de "Mr. Jack" speler is om te ontsnappen aan de onderzoeker voor zonsopgang of om het gebied te verlaten in het donker. Het doel van de onderzoeker is om uit te vinden wie Mr. Jack is en hem voor zonsopgang te arresteren.

I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders.
