Het landgoed Sette Ponti is een van de eigendommen van de familie Moretti sinds de jaren 1950, toen Antonio's vader, Alberto, de eerste 50 hectare rechtstreeks kocht van de prinsessen Margherita en Maria Cristina Savoia-Aosta. Het is gelegen in de Chianti, tussen Arezzo en Florence, en dankt zijn naam aan het aantal bruggen die de rivier de Arno tussen de twee steden oversteken. De eerste van deze bruggen, de Buriano-brug (13e eeuw), is te zien op de achtergrond van de Mona Lisa van Leonardo da Vinci. De druiven worden rond augustus en september volledig met de hand geoogst. Deze oogst vindt in verschillende rondes plaats, waarbij alleen de perfect rijpe druiven worden geplukt. Sommige trossen blijven hierdoor nog enkele dagen handen en worden op een later moment geplukt. Zo blijven alleen de beste druiven over voor de blend. De vergisting vindt plaats in grote stalen vaten bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur en duurt 15 tot 18 dagen. De rijping vindt gedurende 18 maanden plats in Frans eiken barriques. Hierna wordt de wijn geblend en gebotteld. De wijn blijft nog voor een periode van 12 maanden op de fles rusten.Een volle, complexe wijn van Tenuta Sette Ponti
Het resultaat is een diep paarsrode wijn met in de neus intense aroma’s van rijp rood fruit, bramen, pruimen, kruiden en balsamico. Wat aangevuld wordt met een beetje zwarte peper, koffie en lichte hints van tabak. Het is een volle wijn geworden, complex, gelaagd, elegant met intens diep rood fruit.
