De naam Ad Astra is ontleend aan de Latijnse uitdrukking Per Aspera Ad Astra - "een ruige weg leidt naar de sterren". Een uitdrukking die ook geldt voor geweldige wijnen, want grootsheid vereist veel liefdevol werk en zorg in de wijngaarden. Ad Astra is een toegankelijke maar tegelijkertijd serieuze rode wijn die zowel jong als na veroudering een genot is.
De druiven die gebruikt worden voor Ad Astra groeien in de Maremma wijngaard, Mongibello delle Mandorlaie genaamd, tussen Scansano en Magliano, op slechts 8 km afstand van de zee op een hoogte van 250 meter. Het terroir bestaat hier voornamelijk uit zand met daaronder granietstenen en klei.
Rijping: 12 maanden in Frans eikenhouten barrique en tonneaux, enkele maanden in beton en daaropvolgende rijping op fles gedurende 6 maanden.

Absolute horrible quality

Do not purchase this track suit even if its on sale. The fabric material is so cheap, it feels like a tacky uncomfortable plastic bottle that's been stretched out over your body. The stitching feels very off and the thickness is somehow too bulky and looks baggy and at the same time feels too tight. Do yourself a favor and avoid, I'm returning this product.

Solid 2pc set
Hubby recently had hip replacement surgery & needed some comfier clothes while he's recuperating.
These are really comfy but they fit well and the subtle stripe just looks a little more "put together" than a standard sweat suit. This isn't his normal style but he's becoming a fan 🙂
Wash and dry well- no special treatment and no wrinkling or shrinkage. Warm but not hot, seem to be well made... not seeing pilling or strings unraveling, etc 👍👍
