Twee AC-Uitgangen
De hoofduitgang heeft een onderbrekingsvrije functionaliteit. De MultiPlus neemt de voeding van de aangesloten belastingen over in het geval van stroomuitval of als de wal-/aggregaatstroom wordt onderbroken. Dit gaat zo snel (in minder dan 20 milliseconden) dat computers en andere elektronische apparaten ongestoord kunnen blijven functioneren. De tweede uitgang wordt alleen actief als er wisselspanning beschikbaar is bij één van de ingangen van de MultiPlus. Belastingen die de accu niet mogen ontladen, zoals een boiler, kunnen op deze uitgang worden aangesloten (tweede uitgang beschikbaar bij modellen van 3 kVA en meer).

Nagenoeg onbegrensd vermogen dankzij parallelschakeling
Tot zes Multi's kunnen parallel geschakeld worden om een groter vermogen te kunnen leveren. Zo kan met zes 24/5000/120 eenheden bijvoorbeeld een uitgangsvermogen van 25 kW / 30 kVA met 720 A laadvermogen worden bereikt.

Drie-fase schakeling
Naast de parallelle schakeling kunnen drie eenheden van hetzelfde model worden geconfigureerd voor driefase uitgang. Maar dat is nog niet alles: tot 6 sets van drie eenheden kunnen parallel worden geschakeld voor een omvormervermogen van 75 kW / 90 kVA en een laadcapaciteit van meer dan 2000 A.

Power Control
De MultiPlus is een zeer krachtige acculader. Dat betekent een zware belasting voor de aggregaat- of walaansluiting (bijna 10 A per 5 kVA Multi bij 230 VAC). Met het Multi-bedieningspaneel kan een maximum aggregaat- of walstroom worden ingesteld. De MultiPlus houdt dan rekening met andere stroomverbruikers en gebruikt voor het opladen alleen de stroom die nog ‘over’ is, zodat de aggregaat- of walaansluiting niet overbelast raakt.

Power Assist
Deze functie voegt nog een extra dimensie toe aan het principe PowerControl. Hierdoor kan de MultiPlus de capaciteit van de alternatieve bron aanvullen. Waar piekstroom vaak maar kortstondig nodig is, zorgt de MultiPlus ervoor dat onvoldoende wal- of aggregaatstroom onmiddellijk wordt gecompenseerd met stroom van de accu. Als de belasting afneemt, wordt de reservestroom gebruikt om de accu weer op te laden.

I don't leave many reviews, so the fact that I am even making an effort to leave one for this case should be testament enough on how impressed I've been with it. First off, the tl;dr: 5 STARS HOLY COW THIS HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I bought this case for my clumsy 5 year old daughter. I thought she'd really like that it was pink and I liked that it had a handle that she could hold onto. I hoped that the spongy padding on the case would protect it from the hundreds of drops that it would inevitably have, but it was a cheap case. I could only be mad at myself if it broke. She really liked it, though. I did too. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. It gave great protection to her ipad, lets her prop it up on the table easily, and she can carry it from the handle. So I'd have given it 5 stars just based on all of those things along. What I did not expect was for me to accidentally sit the ipad on top of the car, forget it was there, and have my wife drive the car to the grocery store with it on top. It fell off less than a mile from our house and laid in the middle of the road in the light rain for a short amount of time before a good samaritan stopped and snagged it before it got ran over. She immediately checked the emergency contact on the ipad and my wife met with her to pick it up. What an angel of a woman. She also gets 5 stars, but I digress... I expected the ipad to be a total loss. As far as I know, the rain alone could have killed it because I didn't know how this case would handle any kind of liquids. And then I was sure a cheap case wouldn't be able to handle flying off a vehicle at 45mph and landing in the middle of the road. But let me tell you, THE CASE BARELY HAD A SCRATCH ON IT. The ipad is 100% perfectly fine. The case protected the ipad from the rain and even from my stupidity. The corner of the case had clearly been the point of impact. It was dirty on that corner, which mostly wiped off. The plastic hard shell part of the case had separated slightly, which I just had to squeeze the corner back into place and then we were good as new. My daughter never even knew it had been gone. This is the most positive 5 star review I've ever given. I'd buy 100 more of these if I had 100 more ipads. Don't even think about it, get this case and enjoy your piece of mind that it will be well protected... even when dad forgets it on top of the vehicle.
