Dit Yasaka rubber heeft voornamelijk een natuurlijk rubberen bovenlaag. Dit verhoogt aanzienlijk de grip en spin. Deze materialen werken perfect samen en zorgen voor een verbeterd balgevoel ten opzichte van de Rakza 7, zij het iets minder snel. Dankzij de unieke eigenschappen van het rubber kan de speler de bal nauwkeurig plaatsen, zowel in richting als lengte. Zowel services als korte returns kunnen nauwkeurig worden uitgevoerd. De duurzaamheid van de Rakza 7 Soft is aanzienlijk verbeterd vanwege het hoge gehalte aan natuurlijk rubber.
