Veste il calice di un bel rosso rubino intenso. Al naso lascia percepire un bouquet olfattivo complesso e profondo, dove i sentori di frutta scura matura, quali lampone, marasca, prugna e mora, sono arricchiti dai terziari di vaniglia, cacao e caffè. Il palato è morbido e corposo, caldo e avvolgente, fine ed elegante nella trama tannica, equilibrato e di lunga persistenza.La Toscana è terra eccezionale per il Merlot, e il “Poggio ai Merli” ne è la dimostrazione più diretta. Viene lasciato riposare fino a trenta mesi in barrique nuove di rovere francese, e si completa con un ulteriore anno di affinamento in vetro. Prodotto da Castellare di Castellina, è un Merlot che rientra a diritto nell’elenco di quelli che sono i più grandi rossi della Penisola. Di grande struttura e di grande personalità, è stato vinificato per la prima volta con la vendemmia del 1999, e sin da subito si è imposto come una sorta di “monumento simbolo” dei vini d’eccellenza. È un Merlot eccezionale.
Ideale con la cacciagione, è ottimo con il cinghiale in salmì.

I bought this for my Honda civic 2017 lx 1.5 and it is a perfect fit. I didn’t realize how important it is to change it. Let me tell you if you are thinking about buying this, it’s your sign not JUST because of health which is vital and first and foremost but the PRICE! At any oil change or auto shop they will charge no less than 50$ and I’ve seen higher. I will continue to buy this brand. I will update in my next 5,000 miles. 8.00$ or 50$+ and the quality is EXACTLY the same, your choice.
