De wijn wordt gemaakt van meer dan 35 gemengde druivenrassen met het grootste aandeel tinta roriz, tinta amarela, touriga franca en tinta barroca. De wijn heeft een indrukwekkend rijke structuur, geparfumeerd zwart fruit en enkele stevige tannines die goed zullen lenen voor lange rijping. De geur is zeer geconcentreerd,

Reserva Field blend is een assemblage uit verschillende percelen van 100 jaar oude wijnstokken in het hart van de Vallado-wijngaard. De wijn wordt gemaakt van meer dan 35 gemengde druivenrassen met het grootste aandeel tinta roriz, tinta amarela, touriga franca en tinta barroca. De wijn heeft een indrukwekkend rijke structuur, geparfumeerd zwart fruit en enkele stevige tannines die goed zullen lenen voor lange rijping. De geur is zeer geconcentreerd, met tonen van balsamico, vijgen, bramen en tabak. Het heeft volle, stevige, rijpe en zijdezachte tannines. Minerale tonen en een zeer elegante, aanhoudende en complexe afdronk.

Een deel van de druiven wordt met de voeten getreden in traditionele granieten 'lagares'. De resterende druiven fermenteren in roestvrijstalen vaten van 5 ton. Na de malolactische gisting wordt de wijn overgeheveld in Franse eikenhouten vaten van 225 liter waar hij 18 maanden blijft rijpen.
