De Amontillado 12 Años wordt gerijpt in Amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten via het traditionele solera-systeem. Dit systeem zorgt voor een constante kwaliteit en complexiteit van de wijn. De eerste zes jaar onder flor geven de wijn zijn finesse en delicate aroma’s, terwijl de daaropvolgende oxidatieve rijping zorgt voor diepte en complexiteit.

Proefnotitie

Rijke, complexe geur van brooddeeg, appel, hazelnoten en rook. In de mond mooi droog en een tikje astringent, perfecte balans tussen frisheid en rijkdom. Lange, zachte afdronk.

Serveertemperatuur

Deze amontillado kan het beste geschonken worden op 12 tot 14 graden. Op deze temperatuur kan de sherry wat ronder en frisser overkomen dan op kamertemperatuur.

Spijs-combinaties

De Amontillado van El Maestro Sierra combineert goed met vette vis, belegen kazen, paddenstoelensoep of -ragout, gegrilde asperges, artisjok uit de oven. In zijn algemeenheid is amontillado vrij breed inzetbaar, dus wees niet bang om te experimenteren met nieuwe (en uitgesproken) smaken.

If you sleep hot, night-sweat, or just want a pillow that actually stays cool — these are it. 10/10 recommend.
