De Spätburgunder “N Linie” 2023 is een vrije, minimalistische interpretatie van Pinot Noir uit de Pfalz. In het glas een lichte kleur, maar een intense neus van rood fruit (kers, framboos), rozenblaadjes en een vleugje kruiden en onderhout.

De smaak is fris, energiek en sappig, met levendige zuren, uiterst fijne tannines en een bijna gewichtsloze textuur. Dit is Spätburgunder in een zeer drinkbare, natuurlijke stijl: licht gekoeld een fantastische tafelwijn, maar ook solo bijzonder charmant.

Vinificatie.
De druiven zijn biologisch geteeld in percelen rond Ruppertsberg en met de hand geoogst. De vergisting verloopt spontaan met wilde gisten, vaak deels met hele trossen om extra frisheid en structuur te geven. Maceratie gebeurt zacht, met minimale mechanische ingrepen. De wijn rijpt vervolgens ongeveer 12 maanden in gebruikte barriques en grotere houten vaten, op de fijne lies, om complexiteit op te bouwen zonder merkbare houttoets. Hij wordt ongefilterd en met minimale sulfietdosering gebotteld, waarna hij nog enkele maanden op fles rust voor vrijgave.

Het domein.
Weingut Michael Andres is een kleinschalig, biologisch domein van ongeveer zeven hectare in Ruppertsberg (Pfalz). Andres werkt volledig in lijn met de natuur: geen herbiciden, veel handwerk in de wijngaard, en een sterke focus op bodemleven en biodiversiteit.

Alle wijnen vergisten met wilde gisten; de “N Linie” staat voor Natural / No-nonsense: ongefilterde, minimalistische wijnen die zo puur mogelijk de druif en het terroir weerspiegelen. De stijl is altijd levendig en energiek, met veel spanning en een opvallend frisse signatuur voor de vaak zonnige Pfalz.

This book did nothing but repeat itself. It's writings from several people as they state in the book and each person said the same thing. The whole book can be summed up in 50 pages (probably less) and is simply an outline. It literally tells you to make sure you update your documents and have your passwords secured and accessible by appropriate people. If that's the level you are looking for then this is a great book, but if you want the nitty-gritty, look elsewhere! They advertise a book that has that info supposedly but I am scared to potentially waste my money on that book since I thought I was getting that with this book, "The only Estate Planning book you'll ever need!"
