Met deze Nedis multifunctionele SmartLife Infrarood Bluetooth® Thermometer meet u snel en eenvoudig de lichaamstemperatuur. De thermometer meet je lichaamstemperatuur via voorhoofd of oor. Het heeft vier meetmodi: volwassen voorhoofdstemperatuur, kindervoorhoofdtemperatuur, oortemperatuur en objecttemperatuur. De voorhoofdsmodus is erg handig voor het nemen van een snelle temperatuurmeting van uw kind, uzelf of een object. Je hoeft het alleen maar tegen het voorhoofd te plaatsen, één keer op de knop te drukken, op het geluid te wachten en je krijgt je lezing onmiddellijk. De sondekap is magnetisch en kan eenvoudig worden verwijderd en schakelt automatisch over naar de oorpositie met de gepatenteerde AMS-technologie™. De hoogwaardige sonde geeft zeer nauwkeurige en stabiele metingen. Je kunt zelfs de temperatuur van warme melk meten om er zeker van te zijn dat het niet te warm is. De koortswaarschuwingsfunctie heeft een driekleurige indicator die aangeeft of u koorts heeft of niet. Het geeft ook een hoorbare waarschuwing. Je hebt een normale temperatuur als het groen oplicht en een lange pieptoon geeft. Het wordt oranje als je lage koorts hebt of rood als je hoge koorts hebt en geeft 6 korte signaaltonen. Het HD-scherm geeft alle metingen duidelijk weer, dus niet meer turen naar kleine getallen op een scherm! Bovendien kunt u al uw metingen opslaan wanneer u uw meetwaarden via Bluetooth overdraagt naar de Nedis Smartlife-app. U hoeft zich nooit meer zorgen te maken over het verliezen van gegevens! U kunt koortspatronen in de loop van de tijd volgen en controleren of ze in de loop van de tijd verbeteren of verergeren. Pros and cons
Format: Kindle
I appreciate the representation and the complicated relationship between the two sets of best friends. Friendship is not always easy. However, the art was not up to showing subtle emotions. There were pages of panels where the two friends looked into each others eyes and I couldn't tell what they were feeling. Good effort but this was 2.5 stars rounded to 3.

Sweet younger YA graphic novel
Format: Paperback
Nayra and the Djinn is a graphic novel set during Ramadan that follows an American Muslim girl desperate to transfer out of the high school she hates. When shadow djinn Marjan agrees to help her by using their djinn powers, Nayra’s life starts improving. But Marjan isn’t being honest about their reasons for being in the human world, and as the end of Ramadan approaches, Marjan’s secrets may return to upend Nayra’s life too …
This is a super cute coming-of-age tale that revolves around friendship and family! I think it slots perfectly into the much-needed crossover area between older middle-grade and lower YA books, and will appeal to younger teens or the young at heart.
The art style was overall adorable, but my favorite aspect was the color work. The artist used a limited color palette to portray different moods and character perspectives. As a space nerd, I also appreciated the star accents throughout the artwork (I have a theory that the stars tended to crop up to hint at djinn influence on the events of the story, but that’s just speculation).
While I’m not a frequent graphic novel reader, this was a lovely change of pace from my usual reads. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wholesome middle grade/YA crossover with a sprinkle of the supernatural!
