Een schaduwdoek is dé stijlvolle en effectieve oplossing om u tegen de warmte en schadelijke UV-stralen te beschermen. Bijvoorbeeld op uw terras, in de tuin, boven de zandbak, op uw oprit of bij het zwembad. Door de kwaliteit van het productmateriaal en de montagesets zijn de Kopu® schaduwdoeken ook zeer geschikt voor zakelijke doeleinden zoals horecagelegenheden, buitenevenementen of kinderdagverblijven. Dit schaduwdoek kan de hele zomer buiten blijven hangen en is snel en eenvoudig op te hangen en te verwijderen. Door de HDPE geweven stof is het vuilafstotend en verkleurt het niet snel. De hoekpunten zijn gemaakt van extra stevig 8 mm dik RVS. Het biedt je tot 95% bescherming tegen schadelijke uv-stralen. Wat is HDPE?
Onze waterdoorlatende schaduwdoeken zijn gemaakt van hoge kwaliteit HDPE 280 gram/m2. HDPE is de afkorting voor Hight Density Poly-Ethylene. HDPE is een kunststof vezel die de een perfecte eigenschap heeft voor zonnedoeken/schaduwdoeken en dit materiaal, zeker de zwaardere stofkwaliteit zoals Kopu gebruikt wordt uitsluitend door kwaliteit leveranciers. Het staat bekend om de hoge dichtheid van het materiaal waardoor het een Uv-bescherming biedt van 90% tot 95%. HDPE neemt geen vocht op, is zelfs vochtafstotend.
Polyethyleen heeft een hoge treksterkte en is bestand tegen rek. HDPE is 100% recyclebaar na gebruik. Daarbij heeft dit materiaal de eigenschap dat het schimmelwerend is en laat het water en wind door. Ideaal dus voor schaduwdoeken!
Waterdicht of waterdoorlatend?
U heeft de keuze uit een waterdoorlatend of waterafstotend schaduwdoek ook wel zonnezeil geheten, waarbij het verschil zit in de structuur van het doek. Een waterdoorlatend schaduwdoek is gemaakt van HDPE, is stevig kunststof en heeft een meer open structuur. Dit zorgt ervoor dat dit schaduwdoek water zal doorlaten.
Een waterdicht schaduwdoek is gemaakt van Polyester. Dit heeft een dichtere weefselstructuur en zorgt hierdoor voor een optimale bescherming wanneer het regent. Het is hierbij wel belangrijk dat u het doek aflopend ophangt zodat het water eraf kan lopen. De bescherming tegen UV-straling is ongeveer 85% en is iets minder dan bij niet-waterafstotende doeken. Ook zijn ze minder bestand tegen harde wind en windstoten. De Waterdichte doeken van Kopu® hebben getapete naden waardoor doorlekken wordt geminimaliseerd.
Schaduwdoek montage
Bij de levering ontvangt u een uitgebreide handleiding. Schaduwdoeken zijn eenvoudig om te monteren. Er zijn een aantal punten die je moet weten zodat je optimaal gebruik maakt van de eigenschappen en lang plezier hebt van je schaduwdoek. In het kort geven we u alvast belangrijke aandachtspunten.
• Een zonnezeil of schaduwdoek wordt gemeten vanaf het uiterste punt van de hoek, van metalen hoek tot metalen hoek.
• Om een doek goed op te spannen heb je minimaal 30 cm in de lengte nodig en 20 cm in de breedte op iedere hoek. Doe dit met het meegeleverde touw of een metalen spandraad of een ketting.
• Een goed schaduwdoek is concaaf gesneden, dat wil zeggen dat het hol gesneden is voordat het genaaid is. Hierdoor is het doek in het midden smaller dan in de hoeken. Door de conclaaf uitgesneden zijden heeft een schaduwdoek een grotere trekweerstand waardoor het spanningen zoals bij wind kan weerstaan.
• Monteer het ophang oog van het doek niet direct aan het bevestigingspunt, maar altijd een touw of staaldraad er tussen te monteren.
• Vervolgens is het van belang dat er ruimte is om het doek op te spannen en na te spannen. Dit doe je het beste met zogenaamde spanbouten die we in de montagesets aanbieden.
Onderhoud
Al is het ook mogelijk het doek ook in de winter buiten te laten hangen adviseren wij dit niet te doen. Om de gebruikersduur te maximaliseren adviseren wij om de doeken zeker in de winter binnen op te bergen. De stof van schaduwdoeken is eenvoudig te reinigen met lauw water, een zachte borstel en zachte reinigingsmiddelen zoals groene zeep. Een goed opgespannen schaduwdoek kan veel regen en wind verdragen. Echter, bij een storm (vanaf windkracht 6) en bij sneeuwval adviseren wij om het doek te verwijderen. Zorg dat het schaduwdoek goed droog is voordat het wordt opgeborgen.

One of Marvins better offerings
Like the Killers before marvin was almost destined to play the part of Walker in this fast moving gut wrenching but always realistic thriller brilliantly collaborated by Marvin and Boorman who had no peer in this type of film.For those unenlightened souls who downplay Marvins career this was the one that to my mind surpassed most of his prior efforts with the exception of the Killers which was above par in all respects.Marvin was ahead of the pack in the 60s playing this type of hard nosed no nonsense gangster type, no other actor came close and type casted him to some extent in this type of role which unlike may actors became a positive in his career. Just to show his brilliance as an actor he gave us later comedy roles which produced more acting accolades than that material for which he was better known namely what we see in Point Blank.He carries the whole movie as did all the great actors of that era and many since which in itself is the hallmark of greatness. Marvin was a man who so perfectly personified the parts he was playing that often other actors looked wooden in comparison.He was one of the rare individuals who could take a small co starring role and end up being the star of the movie, no mean feat when you were up against the best in the business at that time and there were plenty in the 60 and 70s.To my mind Point Blank will always be a MARVIN film and this is not to downplay other good workmanlike performances in the film but it will always rank highly in Marvins body of work which is a cut above his contemporaries in the roles for which he was known and appreciated.As for the film it played out in fairly predictable fashion until the final scenes under the golden gate brige which gave a nice twist and left the viewer unsure whether Walker did in fact take his money or simply leave the scene of the set up empty handed. The obvious answer is that he waited till the coast was clear and took his money. It is hard to accept that he did otherwise.In retrospect a movie that stands up 40 odd years later and is just as watchable as it was in 67. No mean feat.

A forerunner to Dirty Harry and Lee Marvin shining...
If you liked "The Getaway" or "Dirty Harry", then meet their forerunner.
"Point Blank" is explosive, fast-paced, and still the acting is there.
Good acting that is.
Lee Marvin is at his best. Angie Dickinson. in her strong performance, is as beautiful as ever. Keenan Wynn and Carroll O'Connor play their parts to the hilt and it truly shows. John Vernon (who was The Mayor in "Dirty Harry") plays a slimy type with diligence and very believable.
Add the killing pace of the entire picture, and you have a hot item, as sharp and cutting as "Film Noir" can be.
Yes, because this is still a "Film Noir", despite the fact that it was filmed in Color and in the mid-sixties.
John Boorman ("Hell in the Pacific", "Deliverance" and "The Emerald Forest"), skillfully "color coded" the entire movie, bringing it from absolute colors at the beginning, to more red-tinted ones towards the end.
The only difference from a true "Film Noir" is its fast-paced storyline, that would lead us to movies as I have mentioned above.
Marvin's minimalistic acting, but forceful presence, is enough to fill every frame of the movie with tension, action and complete mayhem.
Compare him in "The Dirty Dozen" and "The Big Red One" and you will see what I mean.
A big plus was the release on DVD. An excellent transfer with a sharp picture resolution, a clearcut sound, make it a very enticing experience to watch it at home.
This is not just a Highly Recommended title. It is simply a Must!

Works for removing coffee stains

quit smoking after 25 years. I have been more than 50 days now without a cigarette and my coffee intake has decreased by 99%. I only drink one cup now in the morning. I've used this before and it worked well. However, I had such bad habits, I could never stay on top of it. Well, I started using again just 4 or 5 days ago. And I have noticed a huge difference already. And now I have changed my lifestyle, I feel that I will actually be able to get a better outcome. So far it's working really well to remove those coffee and nicotine cigarette stains. I have been to the dentist since I quit cigarettes. I've got a few cavities that I will be getting fixed in two weeks. So i'm trying to whiten between now and then. I didn't want to use anything too harsh. This does not make my teeth more sensitive.Some whitening toothpastes can increase my sensitivity. Although i'm not a fan of fluoride. I will use fluoride free toothpaste with hydroxyapatite on a regular basis..I just use this as needed. It does produce good results if you, in fact, are really trying to remove those coffee stains. But if you don't change your habits, it only works so much. Also, it's probably gonna work a whole lot better If you have an electric toothbrush. You're just not gonna get the same results using a regular toothbrush, at least not as fast.
