Franc Lizêr Merlot 0.0% is een alcoholvrije rode wijn uit Friuli, ontwikkeld door het innovatieve wijnhuis Lea Winery. Deze wijn combineert klassieke Italiaanse Merlot-aroma’s met moderne dealcoholisatietechniek, en biedt een volwaardig alternatief voor liefhebbers van karaktervolle rode wijn zonder alcohol. Franc Lizêr betekent letterlijk ‘vrij’ en ‘licht’ in het Friuliaans – precies waar deze wijn voor staat.

Wijngaarden en regio

De wijn wordt geproduceerd op het landgoed van Lea Winery in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in het noordoosten van Italië. Hier beschikt men over 104 hectare aan wijngaarden, waarvan 17 hectare biologisch gecertificeerd is sinds de oogst van 2022. De rest is in omschakeling. Alle druiven voor Franc Lizêr worden verbouwd én verwerkt onder eigen beheer, wat volledige grip geeft op de kwaliteit van het eindresultaat.

Vinificatie en rijping

Na de handmatige oogst worden de druiven ontsteeld en vergist in roestvrijstalen vaten op gecontroleerde temperatuur. De alcohol wordt vervolgens verwijderd via een gepatenteerde membraantechniek waarbij geen verhitting plaatsvindt. Hierdoor blijven kleur, structuur en aroma’s optimaal bewaard. Het resultaat is een wijn die zijn originele karakter behoudt, maar volledig alcoholvrij is.

Druivensamenstelling

100% Merlot.

Proefnotities en serveersuggesties

De wijn is diep robijnrood van kleur, met aroma’s van rood fruit zoals kersen en frambozen, aangevuld met lichte kruidigheid. In de mond is hij zacht, met milde tannines en een aanhoudende, soepele afdronk. Serveer op 14 tot 16 graden bij verse kazen, vleesgerechten of als stijlvol alcoholvrij aperitief.

This toy is great!! I have a doodle that shreds everything in sight, including durable toys, but this one stood up to the Teddy test! He easily ripped off the ear/feet bits, but the fabric casing hasn’t come off after a week of play, and I expect the rubber toy inside will be even harder to break. This is a fairly heavy toy, so it makes a thunk when it drops and is probably not suitable for small dogs. It has a light squeak that is quiet and infrequent enough to not annoy me, and it’s pretty cute too!! it does get soaked in drool pretty fast (and takes forever to dry), but at this point i’m grateful it lasts long enough to get drooled on at all.

Dachshund said “did I hear indestructible‽ Hold my ball”

My 15lb Dachshund took this toy as a personal challenge. He heard me tell his human brother that it’s indestructible on the inside and said “hold my ball” promptly proceeding to schmurder the textile aspect of this adorable toy. I’d say it took him a total of 23 1/2 minutes to get to the center of this tootsie pop. I’m not even mad tho bc he had no interest in actually ingesting the outer part, and is totally into the inner toy, which is, for him, literally indestructible. It’s solid rubber, has a wild and fun bounce to it on multiple surfaces. Zodiac rates the squeak 10/10. It’s great especially for when I’m on a call or talking to someone in real life and can’t immediately throw said toy or pay complete attention to him. In conclusion: Your dog will probably love it, ((suggest to just keep an eye on them during the schmurder process and make sure you grab all the pieces that come off so none are swallowed)) Depending on your tolerance for squeaker pitch and frequency of squeak, it's a 4/10 in annoyance mostly bc it’s not a long drawn out squeak ((I can not tolerate those toys, they get “lost on top on my fridge” until I get up the courage to throw them out without him seeing)), it’s quick and requires a bit of effort to produce the sound however it’s a very high pitch squeak so it’s all up to your preference. I personally try to buy toys I can tolerate my dog loving on bc when he gets a new toy, it’s his favorite thing for a long time, like, it sleeps on the bed with us for the first month. Hope your fur child loves this as much as mine did. Not sure I’ll do the whole two in one toy thing again only he got through it so fast.
