Deze HBAs zijn gebaseerd op QLogic’s unieke single-chip Fibre Channel controller-architectuur. Deze multimode optische HBAs zijn speciaal ontworpen voor servers in direct-attached storage (DAS) en storage area network (SAN) omgevingen.
