Een compleet vitamine E-complex
Vitamine E is een vetoplosbare vitamine die van essentieel belang is voor het menselijk lichaam. De vitamine komt vooral voor in plantaardige oliën, noten, zaden en groene bladgroenten en kan niet door het lichaam zelf worden aangemaakt.
Acht verschillende vormen
Vitamine E omvat in feite acht verschillende vormen, namelijk vier tocoferolen (alfa, beta, gamma, delta) en vier tocotriënolen (alfa, beta, gamma, delta). Deze acht verbindingen zijn het meest effectief wanneer ze gelijktijdig worden ingenomen, omdat ze elkaar versterken in hun werking. Daarom vind je ze ook alle acht terug in ons Vitamine E Complex.
Tocoferolen vs. tocotriënolen
Tocotriënolen kunnen sneller en efficiënter door het lichaam bewegen dan tocoferolen, omdat ze een kortere en flexibelere moleculaire structuur hebben en daardoor beter in celmembranen en weefsels kunnen binnendringen. Het nadeel is dat tocotriënolen over het algemeen minder aanwezig zijn in voeding dan tocoferolen, wat kan zorgen voor een disbalans in het lichaam.
SupraBio™ omzeilt slechte opname vitamine E
Tocotriënolen worden over het algemeen minder goed opgenomen door het lichaam dan tocoferolen. Om deze reden hebben we gekozen voor het gepatenteerde EVNol SupraBio™, een complex van tocotriënolen die de slechte opname van vitamine E omzeilt.
250% betere opname vitamine E
SupraBio™ is een self emulsifying delivery system die ervoor zorgt dat vitamine E-verbindingen verkleind worden. Hierdoor neemt ons lichaam de vetdeeltjes beter op in het maagdarmkanaal. Zo zorgt SupraBio™ gemiddeld voor een 250% betere opname van tocotriënolen. Bovendien is de opname niet afhankelijk van vetinname uit voeding.
Natuurlijke vormen bevorderen opname
Voor dit Vitamine E Complex heeft Vitakruid uitsluitend gekozen voor natuurlijke vormen van vitamine E. Natuurlijke vormen worden vaak aangeduid met "d-" als voorvoegsel (bijvoorbeeld d-alfa-tocoferol), terwijl synthetische vormen vaak "dl-" bevatten (bijvoorbeeld dl-alfa-tocoferol). Natuurlijke vormen van vitamine E worden beter opgenomen en hebben een grotere biologische activiteit dan synthetische vormen.

Works well, very adjustable

I love these so much. They are super low profile, which solved the problem of the last set of these that I got that were way too tall for my shallow little drawers. They do exactly the job they say, and before you say that you could just lay your spices flat, this allows for easy access to pick them up since they're at an angle. The only complication for something like this is that your spices have to be pretty uniform in size. If that's not an issue for you, then this will be a good fit. I have really struggled to organize with limited space in this kitchen, and it's little solutions like this that are simple but really make a big difference. My drawers are quite narrow in addition to being quite shallow, so I actually used this as two separate organizers instead of sliding them to fill the whole drawer, though that would also be really effective. The adjustability is really the genius of this design. I might not pay $25 to house $25 worth of spices, except there really isn't another solution in my kitchen so I'm quite grateful for these at this price!!

Very basic

I appreciate being able to use my extra drawer to store my spices. I wish there was a little bit more to this organizer than just the metal pieces. It was pretty easy to figure out and use, but I'm not sure it adds that much organization to the drawer. It did fit in my drawer and I appreciate the versatility and being able to size up to almost any size drawer. It seems to be well made and I don't have any concerns about it lasting for a very long time. I wish it came with jars for my spices as well so that they were all matching. Overall this is a good find but I'm not sure I would order it again.
