Folle Blanche whisky is een gelimiteerde vrijgave ter gelegenheid van de 9e verjaardag van Stokerij De Molenberg. Sinds de opening van het bezoekerscentrum, op 23 november 2014, wordt er traditiegetrouw een bijzondere verjaardagseditie vrijgegeven uit onze rijpingsmagazijnen.

Folle Blanche is een Franse witte druivensoort waaruit cognac gemaakt wordt. De hoge zuurtegraad van deze druif komt in distillaten tot uiting in de verfijnde, geparfumeerde aroma’s. Deze whisky rijpte eerst op Bourbon- en Anker vaten, gevolgd door een langdurige finish van drie jaar op cognacvaten. Die geven tijdens de rijping volmondige toetsen van hout en vanille vrij. In de neus herken je verrassend florale en fruitige toetsen, afgerond met een finale van honing en leder.

It’s nice wearing something that looks and feels decent, but if something happens to it, you can toss and it and pick up another for the cost of a chipotle burrito.
