Deutz Champagne werd opgericht in 1838 door twee Pruisische immigranten. William Deutz en Hubert Geldermann vestigden zich toentertijd inzet pittoreske dorpje Ay, gelegen in het hart van de champagne tussen de twee officieuze hoofdsteden: Reims en Epernay. Het begon heel klein. Een prima wijnhuis met enkele hectare wijngaarden. Gedurende vele jaren kochten zij steeds meer wijngaarden. Voorwaarde was dat het vooral van de hoogste kwaliteit moest zijn. Door deze inspanning en passie is nog steeds meer dan 80% van de druiven voor Deutz Champagne afkomstig van hoogwaardige grand cru of Premier cru wijngaarden, meer dan welke wijnhuis dan ook. Opvallend is vooral de verfijning waar Deutz om bekend staat. De drie druivenrassen van de champagne, chardonnay, Pinot Noir en Pinot Meunier, vormen in de Deutz Champagne een olijk trio. Daarbij wil Deutz alleen de hoogste kwaliteit afleveren. De geur en smaak van Deutz Champagne zijn haast iconisch. Ze worden niet voor niets ook veel uitgeschonken in de gastronomie. Denk aan getoast eiken, zachte marsepein en rijpe appels en peren. De nuances van vers gebakken brioche zijn weergaloos. Deutz Champagne Brut is dus altijd een goed idee. Love these floating shelves!

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Excellent Quality and Beautiful!

This is the second order I’ve made of these shelves (a different length and color for a different room). I’ve put up floating shelves before, and over time they listed although they never fell down. Everything about these shelves suggests they will last a long time. The shelves are beautiful, very well sanded and varnished, and the wood grain is lovely (same with the darker shelves). The installation is relatively simple with easy-to-understand instructions and the support that the shelf fits into is sturdy. Everything works as the directions say, and the shelves seem sturdy when installation is complete. The seller clearly takes pride in their product; even the packaging is very carefully and artfully done. A drill makes the job far easier than it would with just a screwdriver. One set of my shelves are placed one directly below another, so it took some time and my 2 foot level to make sure they are vertically even. If the shelves are offset from each other, as we did with the first installation, it’s easier and takes less time. I would recommend these to anyone.

Premium Quality Shelves That Look Amazing

For my Kitchen remodel, I’ve ordered several of these shelves, in different lengths, and I’ve been consistently impressed with the quality. I had never installed floating shelves before, but the process was surprisingly straightforward even when I customized my own corner setup.
The shelves are beautiful, made from real wood with exquisite grain patterns, and they arrive very well sanded and varnished. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the mounting bracket is sturdy with an excellent precision fit. Once installed, the shelves feel extremely solid and secure.
This company clearly takes pride in its products. Even the packaging is carefully and thoughtfully done. With some careful measuring, clamps, and a pocket hole jig, I was able to combine two different shelf sizes to create a custom corner shelf that turned out great.
I highly recommend these shelves and will definitely continue purchasing them as I add more to my home.
