Mooie, terroir-expressie in deze Riesling van mergelbodem. Balans tussen sappigheid en mineraliteit, die de wijn veel spanning geeft. Warme citrus, bijenwas, tonen van vuursteen, een ziltig karakter en bloemen. Enorm veel diepte en precisie.

 

Land/ Streek: Duitsland/ Württemberg

Druiven: 100% riesling

Producent: Kleines Gut 

In de wijngaard: Een mix van voornamelijk oude wijnstokken (50 jaar oud) gecombineerd met een jongere wijngaard (ongeveer 15 jaar oud). De druiven zijn afkomstig van vijf percelen met een zuidoostelijke ligging, die allemaal op mergelgrond zijn aangeplant.

In de wijnkelder: Enkele uren maceratie in open vaten, gevolgd door spontane gisting in gebruikte barriques en een tonneau. De wijn rijpt vervolgens 9 maanden in gebruikte vaten en daarna in tanks. Gebotteld door zwaartekracht en zonder filtering.
