De plank beschikt over een ruime sapgoot waarin sappen van vlees, vis, fruit of groenten netjes worden opgevangen. Dankzij het hoekvak is deze eenvoudig schoon te maken – ideaal voor dagelijks gebruik in de keuken of bij het serveren van gerechten.

Bij Baas Boards draait alles om duurzaamheid en ambacht. Het gebruikte hout is circulair en lokaal verkregen, vaak afkomstig van oude eiken tafels of vloeren die zo een tweede leven krijgen. Zelfs het zaagsel wordt hergebruikt door boeren en maneges – niets gaat verloren.

Elke plank is voorzien van twee diep doordringende lagen onderhoudsolie die zorgen voor een water- en vuilafstotende bescherming. Voor een langdurige levensduur wordt aanbevolen de plank maandelijks opnieuw te oliën of waxen.
