Dankzij het SHIMANO SHADOW RD+-ontwerp zorgt hij voor nauwkeurig schakelen en verbetert hij tegelijkertijd de stabiliteit van de aandrijving op ruw terrein. Het compacte profiel helpt bovendien het risico op botsingen met obstakels tijdens intensieve ritten te beperken.

Dit model is uitgerust met SHADOW ES-technologie en compatibel met zowel traditionele als UDH-haken, waardoor het een betrouwbare werking en een uitstekende kettinggeleiding garandeert. De tandwielen met 13 tanden in combinatie met de afgedichte lagers zorgen voor een soepele trapbeweging en optimaliseren de kettinggeleiding, zelfs bij zware belasting.

De RD-M6200-SGS is ontworpen voor moderne aandrijvingen met één kettingblad, is geschikt voor een cassette van 10-51 tanden en heeft een totale capaciteit van 41 tanden. De robuuste constructie, de met fluor gecoate verbindingsringen en de roestvrijstalen onderdelen garanderen duurzaamheid en prestaties onder alle omstandigheden.
