Ploegendienst is daarom een constant spanningsveld. De vier leggen elkaar het vuur aan de schenen, pulken het bloed onder elkaars nagels vandaan - en al die wrijving gaf nog nooit zoveel glans als op DSM-5. Noem het hardcore, noem het punk, noem het "venijnige popmuziek". Op DSM-5 wroet Ray Fuego diep in zijn brein en diagnosticeert hij zijn eigen alledaagse mentale gevechten. Spinvis en Vjèze Fur doen ook mee. Een studio vol 'vechtende, vallende, verschillende mensen'. Een plaat die ergens voor staat, maar zonder levenslessen. "Het moet wel leuk blijven."
