Carex morrowii 'Aureovariegata', ook bekend als bontbladige zegge, is een groenblijvende siergras die charme toevoegt aan schaduwrijke plekken in de tuin. De smalle bladeren hebben een unieke, geelgroene variëgatie, met een levendige gele rand die voor een opvallend kleurcontrast zorgt. Deze plant wordt ongeveer 30-40 cm hoog, waardoor hij ideaal is voor randen, borders en potten. Carex morrowii 'Aureovariegata' is winterhard en vraagt weinig onderhoud; hij groeit goed in vochtige, goed doorlatende grond en houdt van halfschaduw tot schaduw.
