De Clematis armandii 'Snow Drift' is een groenblijvende klimplant, geschikt voor uw pergola, carport, schutting of muurtje. Alle clematis soorten groeien door middel van ranken omhoog. Deze kunt u begeleiden met het bindmateriaal van Yarinde.

Bloeiperiode en blad Clematis armandii 

Deze sterke, wintergroene Clematis Armandii soort met heerlijk geurende bloemen. De bloemen van deze klimplant zijn wit van kleur. De bloeiperiode loopt van ca. mei tot en met juni. De langwerpige bladeren zijn groen van kleur. De volwassen hoogte van deze klimstruik is ca. 2.5 meter. Deze populaire tuinplant verdraagt een temperatuur tot -20 graden Celsius.

Aanplanting Clematis armandii 

De bosrank, zoals de Clematis ook wordt genoemd kunt u planten zonder specifieke eisen aan hun standplaats. Vanwege de bloemen, het blad en de groei heeft deze tuinplant een hoge sierwaarde. Bijvoorbeeld als accentplant in uw tuin. De Clematis wenst een voedselrijke, vochthoudende tot vochtige bodem. Voor wat betreft de zuurgraad is ze vrij tolerant (pH = 5.5 - 8). Staat graag op een plekje in de zon of lichte schaduw. Bij voorkeur uit de middagzon. Kan bij nachtvorst in april-mei schade oplopen.

Combineren met andere klimplanten

Bosrank 'Clematis' planten zijn goed te combineren met 'open plaats' en 'borderplanten', zolang die er niet te dicht op staan. Deze Bosrank 'Clematis' kunt u op natuurlijke wijze laten kruipen. Een wel bekende combinatie van klimplanten zijn soorten als:

  • Klimrozen 'Rosa'
  • Hopplant 'Humulus Lulupus' (prachtig blad en mooie hopbellen, sterft in de winter af)
  • Wintergroene klimop 'Hedera' (voorkom wel dat deze snelgroeiende soort de overhand neemt)
  • Groenblijvende sterjasmijn (bevat wel giftig melksap)
  • Blauweregen 'Wisteria'
  • eetbare Klimdruif 'Vitis' rood of witte variant

Clematis onderbeplanting...

Clematis Bosrank is goed te combineren met 'open plaats' en 'borderplanten', zolang die er niet te dicht op staan. Ook combineren met onze borderpakketten als onderbeplanting bij uw pergola. Bosrank Clematis kunt u eventueel ook op natuurlijke wijze laten kruipen over de bodem.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.

On the fence? This is the sheepskin to get!

It stayed put on my leather couch and sitting on it during a Netflix movie was heavenly warm and comfortable. I did not observe any shedding. I bought a ‘Genuine Sheepskin Rug Double Pelt Natural White Fur 2x6’ from Amazon in 2011 for $112.49, and recently decided to recommission it in my new living room. It looked so nice that I decided to add a second rug, and was pleased to find what Amazon claimed to be the same rug still available for only $83.78. Now I’m not one of those silly folks who expects the color and/or size of a natural product like a sheepskin rug to be perfectly predictable, and my living room is large enough that I didn’t need the two rugs to match perfectly, but when the new rug arrived, I couldn’t have been more disappointed. It was about 40% smaller than my older rug, was way, way off from anything that could be called white, and looked cheap, old, and tattered. I tried to comb it out a bit to see if I could make it look presentable, but it was a lost cause. Amazon to the rescue. I returned the rug to Amazon for a full refund the next morning, and the transaction couldn’t have been simpler. And I immediately ordered the ‘Genuine Sheepskin Rug Double Pelt Natural White Fur 2x6’ shown on this page from Super Area Rugs for $119.00. What a difference! These rugs are large, plush, and super soft. The quality of these rugs is obvious, much, much nicer that either my old sheepskin rug or the ‘bargain’ rug I returned to Amazon. I was so impressed with the quality of this rug that I immediately ordered a second, which arrived this morning (it matches the other rug perfectly). My older sheepskin has been reassigned to another room because, well, it’s not in the same league as my two new rugs, which look terrific together. As is so often the case, you get what you pay for. So if you’re looking for a top quality sheepskin rug, this is the one you want.
