Light: Rhipsalis burchellii prefers bright, indirect light but will also tolerate medium light conditions. Avoid strong, direct sunlight, which can damage its thin stems. It grows well near a bright window with filtered light or slightly back from direct sun.
Water: Unlike desert cacti, Rhipsalis prefer slightly more regular watering. Allow the top half of the soil to dry before watering thoroughly, ensuring excess water drains away. Water less frequently during winter when the plant’s growth naturally slows.
