Each piece is expertly carved from solid boxwood, with the dark side undergoing an ebonisation process that transforms the wood into a deep, jet-black finish. To complement these modernist chessmen, we’ve paired them with a deluxe chessboard crafted from black-stained poplar and light Erable (maple), a carefully selected combination that echoes the bold contrasts found in the pieces themselves. Produced in Spain by the skilled artisans at Rechapados Ferrer, this board boasts precision craftsmanship and an impeccable finish.
