This Imperial Blue and White Vase from the Qing Dynasty Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795) official kilns represents one of the finest expressions of the Dragon Meiping tradition, depicting a five-clawed dragon soaring above powerful waves to symbolize imperial strength and celestial authority.
Each vase is handcrafted using authentic techniques of the Qing Dynasty, painted with natural cobalt mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond.
