Sand is a great sensory item for kids as they explore their sense of touch and play and discover the wonderful texture of sand. Our kid’s boat sandpit has a handy hinged lid storage area in the bow – to keep sandy toys – and who knows – perhaps a spot of rum. Once the hinged lid is closed the storage area also doubles up as extra seating for the ships crew.

This children’s sandpit with seating includes a protective cover for when play is finished (keeps animals at bay etc) and has a black nonwoven baseliner to prevent weeds and allow water drainage. Made fromá100% sustainable FSC Cypress wood. The natural wood looks great in the garden as it blends with the surroundings. The wood is from socially and environmentally responsible forests and is FSC certified. Sandpit is pre-treated with a water-based preservative.
